Bolivia, China Sign Agreement to Build Satellite

Bolivian President Evo Morales presided over on Thursday the signing of a technical memorandum with China to build the Tupac Katari communication satellite that will broaden the coverage of telecommunications in this Andean country.
Morales explained that signing the memorandum is only the technical part, now financing needs to be guaranteed and Bolivia will be in charge of covering 15 percent of the project.
This modern device must enter orbit in 2013 at a cost of $300 million dollars and it will help optimize Bolivia’s Internet services and mobile telephone system.READ MORE HERE
