Venezuelan opposition dennounced cuban infiltration in Chavez Government, including Cuban officers hold key “Gestapo” positions in the Armed Forces of Venezuela.
The National Coordinator of the political party “Primero Justicia” PJ (Justice First), Mr. Julio Borges, demanded that Hugo Chavez should tell the whole truth about the presence of cuban officials in Venezuela. Borges assured that “never before in Venezuela´s history , the country authorities allowed citizens from another country to be in charge of key posts concerning national security”.
In a press conference Borges points out that it is not longer a secret that these Cubans are occupying key positions in the venezuelan government. The political party Justice First PJ is the third in electoral importance in Venezuela, according to the elections in 2006.
“I am not referring just to medical help or sports coaches , I am talking about cuban advisers that hold key positions within the most important sectors like the harbours administration, the telecommunications sector, energy and oil, electricity sector, immigration, the police, the health system, and with the total indignation of all venezuelans, there are cubans holding key positions also within the Armed Forces of Venezuela”.
The national coordinator of the PJ insisted that the venezuelan government must reveal the names and the positions that are occupied by cubans, adding “these cubans are here in Venezuela violating our laws, compromising our integrity and sovereignty”, he said.
In his view, there must be an end to this special the Cuba-Venezuela relationship. Borges required that the government must explain if venezuelan soldiers have been putted under the orders of cuban officers.
Considers it is a priority to know the truth about the presence of Cubans in Venezuela.
“We Have a President who has declared himself as Marxist and Communist. We Have a Government that has Declared war to the private sector, the Venezuelans have no property rights any longer , the venezuelas are subdued to see only one TV channel, the Chavez channel, we have no access to stable electric service or water, no supplies in our hospitals and schools are indoctrinating our children. The political leader Borges finally listed “how dangerous it became to dissent with the Chavez government”.
Borges assured that “there are today 35.000 cubans in Venezuela, of which 15 Thousand are doctors, Cuba receives 100 Thousand barrels per day of crude from Venezuela and has received 20 billion dollars . We insist that Chavez should clarify how many cubans are in Venezuela and how many cubans are in high positions of government.
