Ponta Pora –  The justice minister, Luiz Paulo Teles Barreto announced today that Brazil will implement new security arrangements  that will unite the forces of the brazilian Border Police Expert, Federal Police and Public Safety departments. The idea is to keep 46 men from the National Force of readiness in the paraguayan-brazilian border.  He said the measure will be extended to the 11 borders of Brazil and its neighbors.  So it is a fact that Brazil is giving high priority to secure its borders.

In total, 46 men will be willing in each of the 11 borders. The goal, according to Teles Barreto, is to invest in total about $ 56 million. According to him, each of these border regions has its peculiarities – the actions of organized crime transactional. “From there, an unprecedented national integration we get, then fighting a more systematic, involving intelligence related to these crimes” said the minister.

Specially, this brazilian initiative will be immediately carried out at the paraguayan-brazilian border. The governments of Brazil and Paraguay will enhance security arrangements at the border between the two countries to try to contain the spread of violence in the region. In the løast months a guerrila called EPP, trained by FARC, started with illegfal military actions against the democratc government in Paraguay.  Both the brazlian mob, the EPP and groups in Colombia like FARC are trying to re-edite the colombian-mexican narcoguerrillas in Paraguay. Paraguay’s president Lugo sent 1,000 extra troops and police into border areas on Monday to hunt down members of an armed left-wing group blamed for an attack that killed four people last week. Congress has granted the government special powers to crack down on the group, which has been linked to a Colombian guerrilla organization, and President Fernando Lugo said security forces would be allowed to use arms.
