RECIFE – PSDB presidential candidate of Brazil, Jose Serra, reaffirmed on Friday in a telephone interview to a radio station of Recife, that the brazilian government needs to have commitment to resolve the issue of security in the country. Serra also said that if elected, he will press the government of Bolivia to take action to avoid the intense cocaine trafficking to Brazil.
– I want the federal government is directly involved in this struggle to defend our families, the right to life, the future of our youth. Drugs are one of these bases and is smuggled. Comes from outside its borders. Brazil does not produce cocaine nor industrialization. Everything comes smuggled … The cocaine comes from Bolivia. So we have to talk to the Bolivian government for failing to leave the cocaine out – Mr. Serra said in the radio program “Supermanhã”, commanded by broadcaster Geraldo Freire.
