Brazil Elections: Poll show Dilma Rousseff first with 40%.

Less than four months before the election on October 3, Dilma Rousseff, of the governing Workers Party (PT) won 40 percent of voting intentions, while Serra got 35 percent, according to a survey of pollster Ibope released this week.

The former head of the Lula government, personally chosen by the president for presidential succession, was gradually overcoming the barrier of low approval, while Serra, a former governor of Sao Paulo, recorded its highest level (40 percent ) in April.
