“Friendly” peruvian judge released narco and went to drink beer with him.

A judge in Peru granted freedom to a drug dealer and then went to drink beer with him in a bar in the northeastern city of Chachapoyas, where he was caught “in fraganti” by judicial authorities, according to a video released Wednesday in Lima.

Judge Edgar Víctor Quispe Gomez, criminal judge of Chachapoyas, about 790 kilometers north of Lima, was caught when he drank liquor with the convicted drug dealer Teófilo Fernández Portocarrero, who was granted parole by the judge himself.

Both were in a bar in the amazonian city, accompanied by two policemen and the security chief of the prison where Quispe Gomez was arrested. The group met around a table on which were four bottles of beer.

“It’s a big disappointment. This judge does not meet the standards of integrity required to handle a situation of this nature. It can not be possible that a judge is drinking alcoholic beverages with an inmate, “said Enrique Mendoza, head of the Office of Judicial Control (OCMA).

Quispe Gómez was undergone investigation for having committed a serious crime . “The judiciary punishes and expelled people who do not comply with its duties as judicial public servant mandated by the country,” said the head of the OCMA to Panamericana TV broadcast. The video was recorded in late July.
