Eight new cyber tech´s unveiled by DHS on October 9th.
Eight new emerging cybersecurity technologies developed by the Department of Energy’s national laboratories will be unveiled for industry by the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate on Wednesday, October 9, at the Mayflower Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC.
The Transition-to-Practice Technology Demonstration Day for Investors, Integrators and IT Companies (I3) East event will showcase new cybersecurity technologies for intrusion detection, removable media protection, software assurance, malware forensics and more, DHS announced Friday.
DHS said “these technologies are ready for developers to transition into commercial products,” and that “this is an opportunity for technology investors, integrators and IT companies to help transition these laboratory prototypes into tools that can be used to strengthen the cyber security posture of the nation.
DHS said the event will “showcase … new cyber security technologies that have potential for development into commercially viable products and success in the marketplace.
